Senior Resource Geologist
Amélie is a geologist with over 12 years of experience in exploration, project development and operations working predominantly in gold and silver systems. In late 2023 Amélie relocated to Perth after six years in Canada where she had worked for Kinross Gold Corporation. Prior to this, she supported Kinross Gold operations based out of Russia, South America, and West Africa.
Her specialties include designing and implementing best practice geological workflows from data collection, geological modelling to resource estimation, developing and mentoring teams, and project management.
Amélie has worked in diverse geological terranes and jurisdictions in FIFO and corporate positions. She speaks French (native), English (fluent), and Spanish (fluent).
She is an expert user of Isatis, Leapfrog Geo, EDGE, Seequent Central,Supervisor and Micromine. Amélie is passionate about technical excellence and innovation in mining, particularly any technologies that aim to remove subjectivity from geological workflows, whilst appreciating the value experienced geologists bring to their projects.
